Our Practice Offers Non-Invasive Skin Cancer Treatments
Image-Guided Superficial Radiotherapy (SRT) is a non-surgical option for treating basal and squamous cell skin cancers. Previously, Mohs surgery was the typical treatment for skin cancer, but Image-Guided SRT offers a way to cure the condition with no surgery, no downtime, and no pain!
Image-Guided (SRT) is a non-invasive treatment used to destroy skin cancer cells by using low levels of X-ray energy, similar to what dentists use for X-rays. Unlike traditional SRT, Image-Guided SRT utilizes ultrasound images to accurately target the cancerous area and monitor the progress of the treatment.
